Twine, the renowned dining destination nestled within the Dubai World Trade Centre, proudly introduces Mevish Appadoo as its new Head Chef, heralding a fresh chapter in Mediterranean culinary excellence

Drawing inspiration from the diverse cultures spanning Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and beyond, Twine redefines Mediterranean cuisine with innovative flair, and with the addition of Chef Mevish, a culinary virtuoso hailing from the picturesque island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, brings a wealth of influences and 13 years of expertise to Twine’s kitchen.

Graduating from the esteemed Ecole Hôtelière Sir Gaëtan Duval in Mauritius, Chef Mevish honed his craft during an 8-year tenure at heritage resorts across the island, mastering a spectrum of cuisines including European, Indian, and Italian. Throughout his career, Chef Mevish refined his culinary prowess in esteemed establishments and under the tutelage of Michelin-starred mentors in both his homeland and the UAE, culminating in his previous role as Acting Head Chef at Go Han RIKAS GROUP in Emirates Tower Dubai.
