The Organic and Natural Products Expo is an annual event held under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. With a focus on organic and natural products, this 19th Edition of the expo is set to take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), Dubai World Trade Centre from December 6 to 8, 2021.

The expo features global exhibitors who are looking to distribute their organic and sustainable products in the Middle East through retailers, importers, and re-exporters. Major distributors who have partnered with the event before include brands such as Spinneys, Carrefour, Choithrams, Etihad Airways and Al Maya Group. The four categories of products that visitors can look forward to include Food & Beverages, Beauty, Health and Living and Environment.

This year’s exhibition features over 180 global exhibitors coming into the Middle East with unique and innovative products made with organic and natural Ingredients. Expect to find several country pavilions at the expo including Russia, Spain, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Latvia, Thailand, and Iran.

Events happening throughout the Organic and Natural Product Expo:

1. The Organic Conference featuring the Advisory Committee

The Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo is featuring a committee of distinguished leaders who have pioneered sustainability across several consumer markets within the region. Expo attendees will get a unique insight into the minds of leaders and a view into the future of the organic and natural industry in the future.

2. Organic Super Kitchen

A live cooking event that will take place all three days; and is sponsored by the European Union in partnership with Ecole Hôtelière Helvétique.

 

The Organic Super Kitchen is one of the most anticipated events where visitors can try food made of organic ingredients that are available to source right at the expo. This year the stage will feature Chefs from the EU and the Ecole Hôtelière Helvétique.

From the EU, look forward to sessions by Chef Thomas Andreas Gugler, who is the President of Worldchefs/WACS, running a multimillion-dollar organization and overseeing 12 million chefs globally. He will personally be representing the EU and conducting live cooking sessions at the expo. Dishes from this culinary mastermind include Fruity muesli with Greek yogurt and salted chocolate; Wild salad with Andechser and Montanari cheese; Chicken breast and organic chicken fillet duet with La Vache Qui; and Coated salmon fillet in wild honey and wheat flour, on avocado mousse.

Stay tuned for the chefs who are making an appearance from Ecole Hôtelière Helvétique.

Individually represented chefs include names such as:

  • Chef Manisha Advani – Manisha Advani is the founder of Soul Santé Café, a vegan and healthy food eatery nestled in Dubai Marina. The new go-to vegan café offers a variety of fresh plant-based dishes that are also calorie counted, free from nasties and taste exceptional, making it the perfect destination for health-conscious consumers in the region. She will be preparing Miso risotto.
  • Chef Jesús Gijaba – Chef Jesús is a Vegan and Celebrity Chef from Mexico and his menu naturally contains Central/South American influences. Having worked in restaurants in Mexico and on television across South America, “El Chefcito” became a familiar face. His experience and passion for plant-based food are second to none, making him a perfect fit for SEVA.
  • Chef Nivedita – Nivedita is the CEO of Chilly Date. Chilly Date has a variety of products – Date Spreads, Seed Crackers, Zerocafé – a date seed coffee alternative from the first and only producers in UAE, and a very recently launched B2C module of fresh bakes and Chilly Date “Naughties” for the healthy, naughty cravings. Christmas themed, Gluten free, Nut free and Vegan dishes to expect Include Scrambled eggs on toast and Tiramisu.
