Red Sea Global Hospitality has appointed Carla Puverel as the new General Manager of Shebara
With over 20 years in luxury hospitality, Puverel has held key roles at top resorts across the Maldives, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. Her career highlights include serving as GM at Rixos Qetaifan Island North in Doha and as Resort Manager at Anantara Phuket Layan in Thailand. She also held the GM position at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka and Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.
Puverel’s expertise in hotel management and her strong background in operations and revenue analysis make her well-suited for the Shebara project. Red Sea Global expressed confidence in her ability to inspire excellence and elevate the brand. Shebara, a luxury hotel brand from The Red Sea and AMAALA, is set to open in 2024 on Sheybarah Island.
The resort, designed by Killa Design, will feature 73 accommodations, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Shebara will join other prestigious brands like St. Regis and Ritz Carlton Reserve.
