Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, the inaugural Marriott Hotels branded resort in the region, is set to commemorate its first anniversary on December 15, 2023.
Reflecting on the past year, the resort has achieved significant milestones, establishing itself as the 50th property in Dubai and setting new standards in the hospitality industry. Key accomplishments include achieving full occupancy within the first three months of opening, hosting an inaugural gala dinner and family fun day, and introducing ten curated dining venues with a focus on culinary excellence.
Notable additions to the dining scene include Above Eleven from Bangkok and the Japanese gem OKKU, contributing to the resort’s versatile destination appeal for both families and business travellers. The commitment to sustainability is also evident, with a fully digital check-in process and an array of eco-friendly practices throughout the property.
Looking ahead, Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah will introduce new offerings in the coming year, including Smoki Moto, a Korean steakhouse concept, Senor Pico Beach, a casual beach club, and an alfresco dining space at Cucina called Acquasale. Further recreational amenities, including the addition of a teenage playground and padel tennis courts, are also in development.
