Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts appoints Ravneet Arora as the Director of Sales and Marketing

Lapita, Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, the first and only Polynesian resort in the UAE, has announced Ravneet Arora as the newly appointed Director of Sales and Marketing.

Bringing with her a wealth of experience spanning over 12 years in the hospitality sector, Arora’s selection follows her recent position as the Director of Sales and Marketing across a collection of four Marriott hotels: Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek, Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai, Element by Westin Al Jaddaf, and Courtyard by Marriott, Culture Village. During her time there, she led the sales and marketing endeavours for all these properties.

As she takes on her new responsibilities, Arora will be responsible for orchestrating inventive sales and marketing strategies aimed at expanding Lapita’s market presence, driving revenue growth, and enriching the overall guest experience.

Having become part of Marriott International’s team in 2007, Arora swiftly progressed through roles in Sales and Marketing. She achieved her initial Director of Sales position at JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai and subsequently held the same position at the luxury five-star Ritz Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, in 2015. During her tenure there, she oversaw a team of 30 individuals and played a crucial role in nurturing corporate alliances while expanding important source markets. In early 2017, Arora moved to the UAE and assumed the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at Ghaya Grand and accomplished the successful acquisition of significant corporate contracts.
