IHG® Hotels & Resorts, a prominent global hotel company with 6000 hotels spanning 18 brands, has entered into a franchise agreement to establish a Hotel Indigo property in Oxagon, a coastal industrial city situated in NEOM
The planned 250-key Hotel Indigo property will be strategically located within Oxagon’s premier residential community and is scheduled to welcome guests in 2026. Oxagon envisions thriving communities coexisting with clean industry, commercial establishments, hospitality venues, entertainment centres, and retail activities.
As part of IHG’s lifestyle brand portfolio, Hotel Indigo properties offer immersive experiences in some of the world’s most inspiring locations. Each Hotel Indigo establishment embraces its surroundings, reflecting the unique attributes of the area to shape the guest experience. This bespoke approach influences every aspect, from the boutique design concept to locally-inspired dining options. Similarly, the Hotel Indigo property in Oxagon will serve as a lifestyle destination, featuring exciting retail and dining concepts, including inviting cafés, a pool lounge, and a speciality restaurant. At present, IHG operates 37 hotels under five renowned brands in Saudi Arabia, namely InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, and Voco, while an impressive pipeline of 31 hotels is slated to open within the next three to five years. Just last month, IHG inked a management agreement to introduce a Hotel Indigo property in Mohammed Bin Salman Non-profit City, scheduled to welcome guests in 2025.
