Coffee Planet launches The Plant a Tree Project in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects
Dubai’s homegrown coffee roastery, Coffee Planet, has joined forces with Eden Reforestation Projects Eden to set into motion The Plant a Tree Project.
The brand will plant a tree for every purchase of their new Nespresso compatible, biodegradable capsules, through Eden. These compostable capsules are available in four unique blends and origins. Choose your favourite from among the Peru Satipo, with a tasting profile of milk chocolate, roasted almonds, orange and caramel; Italian Dark Roast, with a tasting profile of roasted almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa and dark caramel; French Medium Roast, with a tasting profile of dark chocolate, plums and maple syrup; and the Brazil Sul de Minas, with a tasting profile of hazelnuts, milk chocolate and caramel.
Eden Reforestation Projects is a non-profit organisation that works with villages and communities in developing countries that suffer from poverty resulting from the deforestation and destruction of the lands that otherwise sustain them. Through this mission, Eden will utilise its ‘Employ to Plant’ concept where members of local communities are employed to help plant trees, thus helping them afford basic and daily necessities such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine.
