The Pro Chef Middle East Fine Dining Awards 2013
The launch of The Pro Chef Middle East Fine Dining Awards went successfully. Nominations and winners were drawn exclusively from 4- and 5-star F&B outlets – and equivalent independent restaurants – across the UAE in a number of categories that celebrated the skills and expertise of the entire restaurant team.
For an inaugural event, we’re pleased to see that more than 2,200 individuals participated in the nomination and voting process, making the awards truly representative of the F&B industry.
And it’s because only the industry knows the levels of skill and dedication required, that voting was limited to people who work in F&B, though of course they could not vote for themselves! Instead of consumers voting for the restaurant based on nothing more substantial than ‘this is a nice place’, The Pro Chef Middle East Fine Dining Awards highlighted and celebrated the achievements of those working in the fine dining sector judged by their peers.
We’d like to thank all those who took part, our sponsors and our special guest at the award dinner, Gary Rhodes. And, of course, our congratulations to all the winners!
