The 8th annual The Best Chef Awards will take place in Dubai from 4-6 November 2024, marking the event’s largest edition to date
Supported by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), this occasion will be the first global culinary awards held in Dubai and the Middle East, further establishing the city as a significant player on the international culinary stage. The awards will feature celebrated global chefs such as Vaughan Mabee, Albert Adrià, and Ángel León, alongside leading Dubai chefs including Gregoire Berger and Himanshu Saini.
Emerging culinary talents from Dubai, including Wassim Orfali and Christophe Devoille, will also be highlighted, emphasising the city’s growing influence in the global gastronomic arena. The awards are anticipated to further enhance Dubai’s culinary offerings and positively impact its tourism and hospitality sectors, aligning with the strategic objectives of the D33 Dubai Economic Agenda.
Key event highlights include the introduction of a new voting and ranking system, the ‘Area Talks’ and ‘Food Meets Science’ conferences, and a prestigious Awards Gala celebrating the world’s finest chefs. These elements will position The Best Chef Awards as a leading platform for global culinary leadership and innovation.
Additionally, the event will foster city-wide engagement, with DET supporting culinary pop-ups, workshops, and networking opportunities that will integrate both local and international communities.
