The luxurious Sofitel Dubai The Palm have expanded their F&B and events teams Located on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the luxurious Sofitel Dubai The Palm has revealed the appointment of a new F&B Director and Head Chef, along with the hire of a new Assistant Director of Events.
Irish-born Kevin Fleming joins the hotel as the head chef across all its dining concepts. Previously at Atlantis the Palm, he will oversee the running of Manava, Moana, Porterhouse Steaks & Grills, The World Eatery, Maui, Zoya by Maui and Olivier’s; together with other aspects related to food and beverage offerings.
Heading up the direction of F&B at the property now rests in the hands of Antonio Ostuni, who brings 20 years’ experience to the table. Having worked at key hotels in Egypt, Langkawi and Italy, Antonio plans to ensure the continued success of the restaurants within the hotel.
Lastly, we have the appointment of Noreen Rocque as the Assistant Director of Events. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her past experience of having previously worked at top hotels, along with a role at Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. She hopes to inject new energy and ideas to the events side of the business.
